Subsea

The subsea hydraulics sector is relatively niche, with oilfields and the Royal Navy making up the most part of the field. Most subsea hydraulic systems are made up of a series of valves, which close around the drillbit or cut the drillpipe in half in case of an emergency. Trident Hydraulics have a sophisticated range of hydraulic components for your business, upholding the integrity of the application, for safe and efficient results.

Remotely Operated Vehicles

An ROV is used to operate a subsea rotation tool, or wrench, on the valve of a subsea structure. They are used quite commonly to help extract offshore hydrocarbon and oil.

Salami Valves

The positioning of the spool inside the cast iron valve determines the direction and flow of the hydraulic fluid. By changing to different positions inside the valve, the spool channels the fluid and changes its route. The spool’s neutral position is fixed with springs, and it is when in this position that the spool blocks the fluid or returns it to the tank.

Trident Hydraulics have an extensive catalogue of Salami valves for subsea application.

Salami Pumps

Our experienced team can assist you in choosing which components are right for your business, working with your time frame and budget allowances.

Salami pumps come in many different series, depending on the application. Trident Hydraulics supply gear pumps, rotary pumps, screw pumps and flow dividers by Salami.
